Terms & Conditions

This website is operated by Off The Beaten Track Rides. Throughout the site, the terms "we" "us" and "ours" refers to Off The Beaten Track Rides. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking.

 

Any payments are only refundable when cancelled by Off The Beaten Track Rides for reasons outside our control, and therefore placing us under no further obligation.
 

We shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury sustained by any person during the entire holiday. Riders are strongly advised to wear protective headwear, high vis etc.
 

Guests are recommended to take out their own rider/holiday insurance to cover mis-haps/cancellations. Completion of booking form confirms acceptance of terms and conditions.
 

Arrival time not before 12 noon and departure time no later than 2pm. If you wish to arrive sooner or leave later please discuss prior to booking.
 

All horses must be wormed and vaccinated against equine flu and tetanus.
 

Passports to be shown on arrival.
 

Horse riding and horse handling is potentially dangerous and YOU RIDE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. You are required to respect other riders and horses and also declare any behavioural aspect of your horse before the ride. We reserve the right to refuse participation should you or your horse appear to constitute a risk to themselves, their horses, other riders or horses.
 

Any expenses incurred shall be the responsibility of that rider and no refund will be due for the cancelled part of the holiday.
 

You WILL be required to complete a waiver form on arrival.
 

Vehicles and contents are left at OWNERS SOLE RISK.
 

We accept NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR RIDERS PERSONAL EFFECTS.
 

Please do not bring items of value.
 

Bookings are accepted on the basis that riders do not suffer from any illness or disability, which could affect their safety on horseback or at any point during the holiday.
 

Riders must be aware that they will be travelling along some very minor roads and will be required to abide by road safety rules. Riders should be able to open/close gates, remount unassisted, follow maps and directions.
